The emperors new groove review

Well the 2000s era for Disney was a really rough time for the company, while Pixar's films were doing pretty good, the hand-drawn films coming from Walt Disney animation studios were failing at the box office, especially films like Atlantis: the lost empire, treasure planet. Those bombed fiercely at the box office. But not every film in this era were bombs, like films like fantasia 2000, dinosaur, bolt, lilo and stitch, and the film i am talking about today is another box office success, which that movie if the emperors new groove! In my own personal opinion this movie is very underrated! one of the best things about this movie to me is the characters, every single character is likable and very charming, many people say that they enjoy the villains more than the heroes, which is understandable, but even thought i also do enjoy the villains a bit more, that doesn't effect the movie too much because i like the heroes as well! and here is another flaw that people bring up about the movie which is the main character kuzco, and people say he is really unlikable. which i don't totally disagree, but to be honest, kuzco falls into a character category called unlike-ably likable! which means that even if they are unlikable, they are still funny and charming! those types of characters include Miguel and Tulio from the road to el dorado! and i think that this can make an otherwise unlikable character likable! also i think the animation is pretty good, i mean it is no WALL.E, but it thankfully doesn't look like Felix the cat: the movie.

and i really like the music. and i have a ton of nostalgia for this movie, so this movie had a soft spot in my heart! so this is not just one of the best animated movies from Disney (besides pixar), but one of the best animated movies of all time. and has grown such a soft spot in my heart that this is one of my favorite movies of all time!
